Money And Wealth
There are some people who are so obsessed about money
and wealth. They want you to know they have the latest car
and how much they've spent on their house and while there's
absolutely nothing wrong with wanting and having nice things,
Islam is about the balance. Right? When we leave this world
Allah won't ask how fast our cars or how big our houses were.
You will be asked about your salah, your love for his Nabi
(peace be upon him) and your good deeds. Money isn't the
thing that should give you security, it's your Imaan that you
should comfort you. What good are millions in the bank if you
don't pray or even know basic things about your deen
including the life of our Nabi. Even if you know very very little,
try & make the effort. Start at least.
So if you have a partner, a sibling, a son, daughter, cousin,
friend, or even parent who is so obsessed about money and
wealth that they can't talk about anything else, gently remind
them (in private) of the story in Surat Al Kahf of the man who
had everything and wasn't grateful to Allah, he was arrogant
and boasted and then lost everything and lived in eternal
regret. SHARE to inspire others.
