QUOTE OF THE DAY

The journey to Allah is one that people have been upon since they were created. They have never ceased travelling, and they will not lay down their burdens except in Paradise or Hellfire. The intelligent person understands that travel is built upon hardship and facing dangers, and it is impossible by habit to seek comfort, pleasure, and ease during it. Rather, comfort only comes after the journey ends.

It is known that every step taken, and every moment of the journey, is continuous and never stationary. Likewise, the accountable servant is not standing still; he is constantly travelling. It has been firmly established that he is a traveller and must be in the state of one who prepares for travel—by readying the provision that will deliver him to his destination. And even when he pauses, sleeps, or rests, he does so while remaining prepared to continue the journey.
