*Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmat-ul-lahi wa barakātuh*
```How the Righteous Dislike Seeing
Their Brothers in Difficulty```
_In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) ._
_🎙️Muṭarrif ibn al-Shikhīr رحمه الله [d.87 H] said to one of his brothers:_
*“O so and so, if you have a need, then do not speak to me (directly), write it in a piece of paper (and give it to me), for I dislike seeing on your face the humiliation of asking.”*

قال مطرف بن الشخير رحمه الله تعالى لبعض إخوانه: إذا كانت لك حاجة فاكْتُبْها في رقعة ولا تذكرها لي فإني أكره أن أرى في وجهك ذلّ السؤال.
