About a man who sits between her four limbs and al-khitān

*Salaamun 'alaykum wa rahmat-ul-lahi wa barakātuh*

_In the name of Allaah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) ._

*He was asked: About a man who sits between her four limbs and al-khitān (ie: circumcised part) touches al-khitān, without penetration, then ejaculates outside the vagina—does she have to perform ġusl (ritual bath)?*
سُئل الشيخ: عن الرجل يجلس بين شعبها الأربع ويمس الختان الختان من غير مجاوزة، ثم ينزل خارج الفرج فهل عليها غسل؟

🎙️He answered by saying: *The man must perform ġhusl, because he ejaculated.*
فأجاب بقوله: الرجل عليه الغسل، لأنه أنزل،

*As for the woman, she does not have to perform ġhusl, because one of the conditions for the obligation of ġhusl is penetration.*
وأما المرأة فليس عليها غسل لأنه من شرط وجوب الغسل الإيلاج،

*And it is maʿlūm (ie: known) that the place of circumcision is above the glans, towards the shaft of the penis,*
ومن المعلوم أن موضع الختان فوق الحشفة مما يلي قصبة الذكر،

*and if that is the case, then the circumcised part of the woman is not touched except after the glans enters. Therefore, we have stipulated for the obligation of ġhusl from intercourse that the glans must be inserted.*
فإذا كان كذلك فلا يمس موضع ختان المرأة إلا بعد أن تلج الحشفة، ولذلك اشترطنا في وجوب الغسل من الجماع أن يغيب الحشفة،

*And it has been reported in one version of the ḥadīth of ʿAbd Allah b. ʿAmr b. al-ʿĀṣ: “If the circumcised parts meet and the glans disappears, then ġhusl is obligatory.”*
وقد ورد في بعض ألفاظ حديث عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص: (إذا التقى الختانان وتوارت الحشفة فقد وجب الغسل).
