Some people survive by talking about others.
When their lives are empty, they fill it with people’s names.
When they lack purpose, they manufacture gossip.
Talking about others doesn’t make you wiser.
It only exposes your insecurity.
You sit in one place, yet your tongue travels everywhere.
If you truly had work to do on yourself,
you wouldn’t have time to monitor another person’s life, marriage, struggle, or fall.
Today you discuss them,
tomorrow someone will discuss you, and the cycle continues.
Fear Allah.
Silence is safer than a loose tongue.
Rectify yourself before narrating others.
A tongue that enjoys talking about people
is a tongue preparing its own downfall.
