Who are The foremost to the Friday prayer?

*Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmat-ul-lahi wa barakātuh* 

_Alhamdulillaah It's Another Friday, Yaumul Jumu'ah, Best Day of the Week._

```Who are The foremost to the Friday prayer?```

_In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) ._

 🎙️ Shaykh Arafat Al- Muhammadi - May Allah preserve him - wrote:

*[The foremost to the Friday prayer are the foremost on the day of increase.]*

🎙️‎Ibn Mas'ood - May Allah be pleased with him - said:

*‎❝Rush to the Friday prayer, Allah visits the people of paradise and they see him every Friday while they (the people of paradise) are at a dune of white camphor. The peoples' closeness to Allah will be based upon how quickly they rushed to the Friday prayer. Allah will speak to them in an honored fashion that they had never seen before that.❞* (Saheeh)

📚‎ Characteristics of the People of Paradise, by Ibn Abee ad-Dunya (Page 93).

🎙️‎Shaykhul Islam Ibnu Taymiyyah - May Allah have mercy upon him - said:

‎ 

❝The Ulama use this hadith as a proof that it is highly recommended to come to Friday prayer early. And they have mentioned this meaning from the general meaning of the Ayah:

‎ {والسابقون السابقون}

‎ *❝And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise).❞* 

 🎙️Some of the scholars said *❝The foremost to the Friday prayers in the worldly life will be the foremost on the day of increase in the hereafter.❞*

📚 ‎Majmu' Al-Fatawa (6/ 406). 

🎙️ ‎Shaykhul Islam also said: *❝And what Ibn Mas'ud has informed us of is an affair that can't be known except by a Prophet or someone who heard it from a prophet. So we know that Ibnu Masud took this information from the Prophet - Sallalahu Alayhi wa Sallam -.❞*

🎙️ ‎He said: 

*‎❝It is called the day of increase, because it is the day their Lord the Mighty and the Majestic visits the people of paradise while they are upon pulpits and different sitting places.❞*

*May Allaah accept our ibaadat and forgive our shortcomings.*
