When You Seek Allah's Forgiveness, Bring To Mind This Name of Allah- Al-Ghaffär

*Salaamun 'alaykum wa rahmat-ul-lahi wa barakātuh* 

```When You Seek Allah's Forgiveness, Bring To Mind This Name of Allah- Al-Ghaffär```

*_In the name of Allaah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful._*

_🎙️ Al-Khattabi (d.388AH) mentioned,_

*Al-Ghaffar (the oft-Forgiving), is the One who forgives the sins of His servant time after time. Every time the servant's repentance from a sin is repeated, forgiveness (from Allah) is repeated, as Allah, the Exalted said,*

*وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ مَن تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَىٰ*

*"And verily, I am indeed forgiving to him who repents, believes (correctly) and does righteous deeds and then remains constant in doing them (until his death)."* 

[Qur'an 20:82]

*Therefore, Al-Ghaffar (the Oft-Forgiving) is the One who conceals His servants' sins, with His Kindness and Mercy and does not expose his state of affairs to the people nor uncover his affair with a punishment that makes him known (for his shortcomings) in the eyes the people.*
