Ahn ahn.
Islam is not sustained by threats, emotional blackmail, or desperate pleading.
If a person wears the niqāb, let her wear it for Allah.
If a person leaves it, the sin is upon him or her.
And if someone chooses disbelief after guidance, that is a matter between them and Allah.
The Deen is greater than any individual. Islam existed before us and will remain after us.
So our call should be:
"Fear Allah and obey Him."
Not:
"Please stay, otherwise we will lose members."
Guidance is from Allah.
Our duty is to convey the truth with wisdom.
